GET STARTED Manhattan’s Best Fitness Facility CrossFit Hell’s Kitchen’s facility is inspired by the industrial design of CrossFit’s original garage gym culture, but it’s also bright and upgraded with the best functional fitness equipment developed over the years with the growth of the sport of fitness. At 4,500 square feet, and with 24-foot ceilings, our space is lined with pull-up rigs, squat racks, Concept 2 rowers, air bikes, climbing ropes, medicine balls, and so much more. About CrossFit Hell’s Kitchen One of the oldest CrossFit gyms in New York City, CrossFit Hell’s Kitchen houses a community of beginners and experienced members that encourage all to achieve their goals. The spacious 4,500-square-foot layout is stocked with ample equipment and large locker rooms with showers and other amenities, but class sizes are kept small so that coaches can focus on form and detail as they instruct and motivate. Workouts are an intense and sweaty combination of gymnastics, Olympic lifting, and bodyweight movements that challenge members to get in the best shape of their lives. Our Barbell Basics class is a small group informational and instructional session designed for anyone trying CrossFit for the first time. We slow down our usual pace to guide you through the basic barbell exercises to get you familiarized with proper mechanics and technique, and get your body primed to join our group classes. CrossFit Hell’s Kitchen Barbell Basics is designed to ensure your success; we cover everything from our programming philosophy, proper exercise modifications and scaling and regulating individual intensity. It’s a great way to start your CrossFit journey and to get ramped up for our regular group classes. Because CrossFit Hell’s Kitchen Barbell Basics is in a small group setting, the coaches have plenty of opportunity to help you work on technique and get to know your unique goals and needs.
